We all felt very comfortable and at home, the views from the cottage were stunning, my favourite memory from our holiday was sitting on the swing seat with a cuppa, taking in the view and watching the sheep in the field opposite, bliss! Found the location was perfect for us, not far from the coast, Berwick and Alnwick were an easy drive, boat trip to Farne Islands, Lindisfarne, Cragside and Bambergh Castle definitely recommended.
